Earth Hour

Each year Vicinity centres shows our support for Earth Hour by “Switching Off” our lights between 830pm and 930pm.  Last year over 30 of our centres participated and this year Bankstown Central is asking you to be a part of the world’s biggest movement to protect our planet from climate change and habitat loss by “Switching Off”.

2020 is the year everything changed – unprecedented bushfires, floods, and extreme weather conditions. Therefore, this Earth Hour is the most important one for our planet and is our opportunity to protect the future of the one home we all share by ensuring the environment is at the top of the global agenda.

We ask you to join us by switching off any non-essential internal lighting and other electrical items such as computers as well as any external lighting and signage you may have.
