The Vicinity Community Grants Program will provide financial support for local community groups to develop and deliver programs, events and initiatives aimed at developing community resilience and connectedness to enrich the experiences of our communities
Our Community Grants Program will be seeking initiatives focused around four key areas, which are Youth engagement and youth underemployment, Environmental rejuvenation, Education and Community wellbeing, and we believe that shaping our precincts to be inclusive, enhance wellbeing and create a sense of belonging and opportunities to connect is how we create shared value across our communities
If you are a community focused organisations including community associations, not-for profit and charitable organisations and social enterprises, who is looking for funding please apply below through our online application form.
Applications for funding am ounts from $1000 up to $5000 will be considered. Please note that the final grant amount awarded to a successful applicant may vary from the amount originally requested in its application.
Applications open April 3 and close May 14.
Organisations applying for this grant are required to read through the Vicinity Community Grants Framework before applying.
This document covers terms and conditions, eligibility criteria, guidelines for applying, available funding, application and assessment processes and requirements.
Funding is available to community focused organisations including community associations, not-for profit and charitable organisations and social enterprises. Please note- organisations must have DGR1 status to be eligible.
Funding is not available for individuals, government organisations, political parties, religious groups, ‘’for-profit” business or commercial sponsorships.
If an application does not meet the criteria and objectives, it will be deemed invalid and withdrawn from consideration.
Applications must consist of programs that address at least one of the four key focus areas.
During each funding round, only one application per organisation will be considered.
